Real Madrid Form
The Spanish side struggled in the Group stages, losing away in Dortmund and drawing at home with the German side which meant they could only finish second in Group D. That set up a last sixteen clash with Man Utd which they just scraped through over two legs.
Galatasaray only just scraped out of Group H behind Manchester United, thanks in the main to a win over the English side. Underdogs against Schalke, a 3-2 win in Gelsenkirchen was enough to set up this quarter final tie with Real Madrid.
