Manchester City made life easier for themselves this season by winning Group D and they duly benefited from a kind last-sixteen draw, disposing of Dynamo Kiev 3-1 on aggregate. The Citizens then overcame Paris Saint-Germain 3-2 on aggregate in the quarter-finals.
