Champions League Draw

There are various Champions League draws throughout the football season, before and after the group stages. There are three qualifying rounds before we even get to the play-off round, the last round before the Group stages and the Champions League gets underway properly. After the group stages there are three more draws, for the last sixteen, quarter finals and semi-finals.

2011/12 Champions League Last Sixteen

The draw for the Champions League last sixteen was made on 16th December 2011, when the eight group runners up and winners play in the first round of knock out stages.

2011/12 Champions League Quarter-final Draw

The draw for the Champions League quarter-finals will be made on the 16th March, when just the eight winners of the last sixteen remain in the competition.

The quarter-finals will be played out over the 27th-28th Marchl 2012 and the 3rd-4th April 2012.

2012/12 Champions League Semi-final Draw

The Champions League semi-final draw is made at the same time as the draw for the quarter-finals on the 16th March. The semi-finals are played out on the 17th-18th April 2012 and the 24th-25th April 2012, with the winners going on to play each other in the final at the Allianz Arena Stadium in Munich on the 19th May 2012.
