Chelsea's reward for their extra time win in the last sixteen of the Champions League over Napoli is a quarter final clash with Portuguese side Benfica. Chelsea's form has been in and out all season but it was an excellent comeback to win the second leg against Napoli 4-1 and earn a place in the quarter final draw.
Portuguese side Benfica are in good form having come through a two-legged last sixteen match with Zenit St Petersburg and having finished top of their qualifying group which included Manchester United. The winner of this tie will face the winners of AC Milan v Barcelona in the semi-finals.
Chelsea are odds on favourites to reach the semi-finals having beaten Benfica 1-0 in Portugal in the first leg. A solitary goal from Salamon Kalou gave Roberto Di Matteo's side a first leg lead.

Chelsea came through Group E of qualifying as winners depsite losing to Bayer Levekusen. A 3-1 first leg defeat to Napoli wasn't enough to see off the Blues however coming back to win the tie 5-4 after extra time at Stamford Bridge.
Benfica were unbeaten in qualifying as Group C winners including two score draws with Manchester United. The Portuguese side made it through to the quarter-finals with an aggregate win over Zenit St Petersburg, despite losing the first leg in Russia.
