Juve topped Group F by two points in what was a tight group. The Italians won three times and were the only team to remain unbeaten, winning 1-0 in the Ukraine on Matchday 6 to ensure they leapfrogged Shakhtar to win Group F.
Celtic won three times in Group G, although the highlight was their 2-1 win at home to Barcelona. They also picked up wins against Spartak Moscow both home and away to ensure they qualified as group runners up.
