2nd Leg Lyon - Tue 27th April 2010

Lyon - Stade de Gerland Score
Lyon 0 v 3 Bayern Munich - Olic 26, 67, 78

Lyon made a disappointing first appearance in a Champions League semi-final against a Bayern Munich side, losing 4-0 on aggregate after Croatian forward Ivica Olic scored a second leg hat-trick at the Stade de Gerland to put Bayern Munich through to their first Champions League final since winning the competition in 2001. Like the first leg between these two sides, Bayern were always in control and when Brazilian defender Cris was harshly sent off in the second half the Germans task was made that all more simple.

Bayern are now the second favourites behind Inter to lift the trophy in Madrid in May and can sit back and relax on Wednesday night to await who they will play in the final.
