1st Leg - Porto - Wednesday 17th Feb 2010

Porto - Estadio do Dragao Score
Porto 2-1 Arsenal
Valera 11 (1-1) Campbell 18
Falcao 51

Arsenal made heavy weather of their trip to Portugal to face FC Porto in the last sixteen of the Champions League on Wednesday but Manager Arsene Wenger will be please to take an away goal back to the Emirates on the 9th March. Much was made of the missing Arsenal players through injury and the replacement goalkeeper Luis Fabianski had a night to forget as he deflected Valera's first half cross in to his own net. Arsenal equalised soon after through Sol Cambell but some quick thinking in the box led to the winner from Falcao in the second half.
