Bayern Munich are the favourites to win the Champions League on their home ground following their penalty shootout win over Real madrid in the second semi-final on Wednesday. The German side now take on Chelsea in the final on May 19th following the London Club's win over Barcelona in the other semi final.
The Champions League semi-finals continue this week and Chelsea drew 2-2 with Barcelona in the Camp Nou on Tuesday to earn them a 3-2 aggregate win at the expense of the holders. In the other half of the draw Real Madrid need to overturn a 2-1 deficit against Bayern Munich in the Bernabeu.

The draw for the 2012 Champions League semi final was made at the same point as the quarter-finals. Following those quarter-final results Chelsea will play against Barcelona, whilst Real Madrid will be favourites to beat Bayern Munich in the other semi.
